Essential running sandals !

For those who don't know yet Zero Shoes, it's a Colorado-based company founded by a very sympathetic couple fond of minimalist running. The Z-Trail are the successors of the Z-Trek and aim at becoming the reference trail running sandals on the market. Ideal for trail, they are also suitable for road running. Their Z-shaped strap system is very well-thought and comfortable maintains the foot while running. Even better: the sole has a 5,000-mile warranty (8,000 km)! The Xero Shoes Z-Trail are a great choice for minimalist runners. Of course, be sure to smoothly transition from your usual running shoes if this is the first time you try running sandals.

  • Sole

The sole FeelLite™ 10 millimeters thick protects the foot from rugged surfaces. The sole is flat without any offset between the heel and the toe (Zero Drop). The cut of the heel perfectly maintains the foot in place. The sole has a 5,000-mile warranty (8,000 km). This represents about 3 years if you are running 30 miles (50 km) per week which is already quite an impressive feat.

  • FeelTrue®

The lower layer of the sole made of rubber FeelTrue® provides a good grip on all types of surfaces.

  • TrailFoam™

The mid layer of the sole is made of TrailFoam™, a foam that protects the foot and limits the shocks.

  • BareFoam™

The layer of the sole that is in contact with the foot is made of BareFoam™, a soft and flexible foam for even more comfort.
