Under Armour has gone a long way with its running shoes in the last years. The UA Charged Bandit 3 is the culmination of the brand's efforts. It's a great neutral shoe that comes with just the right amount of cushioning and good flexibility. Reasonably priced, it logically received the 'Best Buy' Runner's World award that rewards the shoe with the best value for money. We are also pleased with the decrease in heel to toe drop from 10 to 8mm with this 3rd model of the series. In conclusion, the Under Armour Bandit 3 is a great shoe that should be suitable for most runners.

The Charged Bandit 3 feature the UA SpeedForm® construction. It is supposed to perfectly mold to the foot of the runner.
The outsole is made of solid rubber for greater durability. Under Armour claims that it reduces the weight of the shoe but the Bandit 3 still reaches 259 grams.
The Charged Cushioning® midsole uses compression molded foam to provide a comfortable ride.
The upper is made of flexible knit that wraps very well around the foot. It’s very breathable and features a solid heel counter to keep the foot in place. Good to note, however, that only a small part of the counter is rigid. This will please runners with pain at the achilles insertion point of the heel.
